Faithful believers gather at Konpira Shrine to worship the “god of the sea.” From the road below to the inner shrine on the mountaintop， one can see as one passes through the omon， or front gate， and up the stone stairs the Goninhyakusho Sweets Shop， and national treasures such as the Asahisha shrine， the study， the pavilion， and the treasury.
