MITO Kosei is one of the youngest A-bomb survivors. His mother was four months pregnant with him when she entered the center of Hiroshima three days after the bombing.  He was very sickly in his childhood but now he is in good health.
In spite of two serious diseases, his mother is now 97 years old.
His father was three kilometers from the hypocenter when the A-bomb was dropped, but he lived to be 93.
His grandfather was 600m from the hypocenter and died one month later.
He has been guiding at the A-bomb Dome more than nine years to tell the truth, hoping that world opinion will lead to the abolition of inhumane weapons. Please speak to him when you visit Hiroshima and find him.
